Stenocereus pruinosus 4” pot

With its columnar form and ghostly blue-grey hue, Stenocereus pruinosus is a true desert beauty! Native to Mexico, this species is often called the “Grey Ghost Cactus” or “Organ Pipe Cactus” due to its upright, ribbed stems that can grow into impressive, tree-like structures in their natural habitat. As a houseplant, it remains smaller but still captivates our attention with its frosted, powdery coating. 

CARE:

• Adequate light is a MUST for this plant. Place in a south- or west-facing window. The plant does best with a combination of bright, indirect light and full sun ( ideally 4–6 hours/day) to maintain its compact growth. 
• Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Then water thoroughly.
• Overwatering is a common problem and can lead to root rot.
• Does well in a drier environment. Avoid overly humid spots like bathrooms.
