Episcia “Purple Rain” 4” pot

Native to Central and South America, Episcia is closely related to African violets. These are terrestrial plants in nature and grow as ground covers in tropical rainforests. Episcias are prized for their richly textured, velvety leaves and small, tubular flowers they produce. These blooms, typically bright red, orange, pink, or yellow, contrast beautifully with the foliage and add a vibrant touch to the plant’s appearance. 

CARE:

• Prefers bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can scorch the leaves, while too little light may reduce flowering.
• Keep the soil slightly moist but avoid waterlogging. Episcias enjoy consistent moisture but are sensitive to overwatering.
• Thrives in moderate to high humidity
• Keep away from drafty windows. This plant quickly declines when exposed to cold temperatures
