Cyanotis somaliensis 4” pot

This low-growing plant forms small rosettes of thick, oval leaves that are covered in fine, silvery hairs. The dense fuzz gives each leaf a velvety, almost plush feel. Its soft green to grey-green colouring, paired with the matte, fuzzy surface, creates a calming, tactile quality that invites a closer look.

CARE:

• Does best with consistent bright indirect light (especially to upkeep vibrant colour)
• A few hours of morning sun is beneficial but avoid prolonged exposure to direct afternoon sun as the leaves can scorch
• Water when the first 1/2 of soil is dry. Do not keep soil consistently wet as this will quickly lead to root rot. Avoid allowing water to pool on the velvety leaves. 
• Does best with moderate humidity but adaptable to household humidity 
• Trim the plant as needed to control its size and shape. Regular pruning can also encourage bushier growth and prevent legginess.
